Nagambie Brewery & Distillery

Sitting on the banks of Lake Nagambie is the multi-million dollar Nagambie Brewery & Distillery which opened in 2019.

Get away from the hustle of everyday life and spend some time soaking up the fresh air and peaceful surroundings at their lakeside location.

On opening, the venue concentrated on its range of beers and launch its first gin which was the 3608 (Nagambie’s postcode) which is a Classic Dry Gin.

According to the crew, the 3608 gin was inspired by the classic flavours of the old-school, no-fuss British gins of yester-year, this fragrant concoction of citrus, Coriander Seed, Orris, Angelica and Cardamom celebrates the art of distilling in its purest form. Forged from the best ingredients foraged near and far.

The venue itself is massive and is an impressive space, featuring floor-to-ceiling lakeside windows, a bar crafted from brass, steel and concrete, and a sprawling deck over the water.

Nagambie Brewery & Distillery also prides itself on the food served, a simple scroll through their Instagram account quickly shows you the quality of food on offer.

Recently two new Gin’s have been added to the roster the 3608 Bartenders Cut and the 3608 Navy Strength Gin.

The Bartenders Cut is a twist on the Classic Dry, this is the bartender’s edition; made for all those bartenders and gin aficionados who know better, mix better, and drink better. Using local botanicals, this one comes with more strength and more juniper, fresh citrus peels, and spices.

The Navy Strength is exactly that, this is the proper stuff; the gin of poets, sailors, pirates, and lovers seeking a stronger bite.

Experimental Series features the 3608 Vodka, made from a flavorful Rye grain and we are told a whisky is not too far away.

Of course this is a Brewery as well, hence the name so you can enjoy a wide range of beers but this is not really our thing (But they do taste great!).
