Capricorn Distilling can trace is roots back to Rockhampton where it was know as Saleyards Distillery, located inside the iconic Saleyards Hotel.

Here they crafted Capricorn Spiced Rum and Billy Goats Gin, named after the goat racing that the area was once famous for.

Fast forward to 2021 Capricorn moved and opened their new cellar door in Burleigh Heads, offering a bar, cocktails, free tastings, and tours.

They take pride in producing award-winning spirits using only the finest local ingredients, free of added sugars, colours, and artificial flavors.

The cellar door is open Wednesday through Sunday for tasting paddles and cocktails.

Indulge in a perfect pour over ice or relish a handcrafted cocktail made with their premium rum or gin which has been distilled at Capricorn Distilling.

Find a shady spot outside, or cozy up at the bar with a drink in hand, and be sure to grab a tasty cheeseboard which will be paired perfectly to your spirit of choice.

Drop in for a Sunday session starting on February 2024 with live music and delicious food from Brendos Bites. PS you can even bring your well behaved doggos, and be sure to book a table.
