Big River Distilling Co.

Big River Distilling Co. was established in 2017. Big River Distilling is sited near the confluence of the Molonglo River and Lake Burley Griffin, Canberra. We create artisan spirits of uncompromising quality using ingredients from Australia and afar.

A visit to the distillery where you can relish in this unique opportunity to join founder and distiller, Clyde Morton, on this exciting tour of the distillery at Big River. Learn more about the science behind distillation, the gin production process and the art of flavours, before you experience an enjoyable tutored tasting.

On your visit you can combine a Big River Tasting paddle with a Grazing Platter for lunch or afternoon/pre-dinner gathering in our warm and relaxed indoor seating or our sunny outdoor picnic tables under umbrellas.

Big River feature a number of different gins including a Dry Gin, Pink Gin, Cinn Gin then a 3 gain vodka to round out the current range.

Big River are located in the same complex as the Capital Brewing Co so it is easy to make a trip of it if some of your party like beer.
