Kilderkin Distillery

Kilderkin Distillery focus on the very best premium spirits producing the Larrikin Gins and Liqueurs made in a small distillery located in the historical city of Ballarat.

The name of the distillery comes from a small oak barrel or cask, traditionally for ale or spirits, of 18 Imperial Gallons which is a metric equivalent of 81.8 litres. They believe that this size barrel will produce mature spirits of exceptional character.

Kilderkin has a welcoming cellar door where visitors can taste and enjoy the range of Larrikin Gins and Liqueurs, book tours of the distillery and take part in gin masterclasses.

The Distillery produces the artisan gins in small batches with a range of different gins and liqueurs available for tasting on gin flights, in gin and mixer drinks, or in cocktails. Cheese platters, beer and wine are also available.

The Kilderkin signature gins are Scoundrel, a London Dry Gin and Original Larrikin, an Australian Gin. Both are infused with juniper, coriander seed and a range of carefully selected botanicals. There is also the Buccaneer, a navy strength gin at 57% abv, and a  Barrel-aged gin as well as gin-based liqueurs.
