Queenscliff Distillery

Queenscliff Distillery can be found within the Queenscliff Brewhouse. It is a flavour destination it features an onsite brewery, the distillery, a range of packages from tasting experiences and brew or blend your own, an award winning restaurant and a tasting room, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

The cellar door is located next to the hotel and open as a bar, offering gin, wine and beer tastings, and they are also a retail shop.

Gin tasting paddles can be purchased from the bar and their knowledgeable staff will be happy to talk you through the distillation process and the stories behind their gins.

Dry Gin was the first gin they made with the new copper pot still. It was produced with the guidance from another local distiller, Josh Walker from Timboon Distillery. It has been awarded a Bronze at the 2020 Australian Distilled Spirits Awards.

The Queenscliff Distillery has also won a number of other awards for range of gins including the Citrus Gin, Botanical Gin and Navy Gin.

Once you have enjoyed a tasting flight or Gin and Tonic you can head for the bistro restaurant and grab a meal by the fireplace.

If you really want to get into the weeds you can take a Gin Blending Masterclass, what gin lover wouldn’t want to create their very own gin under guidance of a distiller and take a bottle of their own gin home with them.
