Big Tree Distillery

Big Tree Distillery is the result of a gin-loving husband and wife team who love good gin so much they decided to make their own. Introducing Catherine and Gary, who are devoted to bringing you a truly home-grown and delicious award-winning gin.

Big Tree Gin is distilled in the Macedon Ranges region of central Victoria, on Jack’s Springs Farm and they produce a range of farm crafted small batch Australian gins.

When Big Tree hit the road they do it in their Volkswagen Beatle the “Gin Bug”. Keep an eye out and you will see this amazing machine at the distillery and at farmers’ markets around Victoria.

One of the features of Big Tree’s bottles is the beautiful designs that are painted by a local artist Sarah Gabriel. There is something about picking up a bottle of gin with a fantastic design on the bottle, it adds to the excitement of trying a new drink.

Big Tree has won awards for their Elegant Dry Gin, Claude Navy Strength, and their Rhubarb Gin (I cant wait to try the Rhubarb Gin). The current range is rounded out with a Seasonal Cumquat infused and double-distilled GiN, the Ruby’s Elderflower Gin Liqueur, and a Sloe Berry Gin.
