Boatrocker Brewers & Distillers
Boatrocker Brewers & Distillers is a small, family owned and run brewery and distillery in Melbourne’s southeast. Founded in 2009 by Matt & Andrea Houghton, Boatrocker has come a long way from its beginnings of selling its first beers from the back of a car.
As much as we enjoy a beer we are here for the spirits In late 2017, Boatrocker became Boatrocker Brewers & Distillers. Hippocampus from WA merging into Boatrocker to create an exciting new venture which added distilling to Boatrocker.
The range of spirits include a big selection of core range and specialty Gins, along with Vodka, Rum and even Whiskey options.
To experience Boatrocker to its fullest you need to take a full afternoon in the Barrel Room & Beer Garden. You will be surrounded by over 300 ex wine and whisky barrels filled with Boatrocker’s future creations while you sample their range.
14 taps of ever-changing Boatrocker beers plus a huge range of packaged beer or head down the spirits lane where you can order neat, on the rocks, or with a mixer. When it comes to cocktails the staff are some of the best cocktail slingers around creating new delicacies all the time for your enjoyment.
