Corowa Distilling Co. all started with a dream and a $1.
Found in the border town of Corowa on the banks of the mighty Murray River you will find a former heritage-listed 1920s Flour Mill which is now a distillery.
The flour mill was closed in the 1970s and the building was left to decay until it was sold for $1 and was turned into Corowa Distilling.
Open 7 days a week there is no bad time to visit the distillery whether you plan to try the Whisky or drop in for a bite to eat at the café.
Corowa Distilling Co.’s first whisky was released in 2018, and their core range includes whiskies named after local people and places. Corowa Characters is a blend of American French and Hungarian wine casks that pays homage to the four lads that make up the production team.
On site there is the café which is open for breakfast and lunch and you can enjoy a seasonal menu showcasing local produce from the region.
The is also a chocolate room! You can watch their team create in house Belgium chocolates for you to enjoy. If you bring your little ones along they can take part in freckle making held every Saturday & Sunday from 10am till 3pm, no bookings required.
